Gettysburg Oddities

Ok, here's some unusual stuff from Gettysburg. That building is one of my favorites. It was built in 1916 as an automotive showroom and repair facility, or so I'm told. It served as an antique shop for most of the time that I can remember. The detailing is exquisite, which cannot be said for that horrid custom car I found parked nearby on the day I shot the building. It looks to me like a Cadillac that has had the rear seat and associated chassis section removed. The result is both grotesquely distasteful, and very likely a terrible beast to drive. Note the excessive front and rear overhangs. Having something that big and heavy riding on such a short wheelbase no doubt makes it pitch and buck like an angry mule. In fact, an angry mule would almost certainly handle better. And be less embarrassing to be seen with.
